Portrait of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin)

Jimmy Page and Robert Plant S

Still following the paintings orders from my rock musician partner Kev Moore.. rock musicians are really wonderful subjects for me and I deeply enjoy the colours and attitudes.

Soon I will start a series about Michael Jackson… I am so incredibly sad about his death, I still can;t face and believe it, when I see him dancing… more than anything, it is what i admired in him.

You can see my -so far- published collection of flowers and still life in my FFA Gallery clicking on this link.

If you are interested, You can buy there directly on line, prints of these paintings in many different sizes, on different kind of papers or canvas, or as greeting cards. Just click on the widget below

I was just listening to Led Zeppelin’s Greatest Hits yesterday! Great timing – certainly one of, if not the, greatest rock band of all time… love the energy in this piece.

The best rock bands always have a classic pairing of guitarist and vocalist, think Jagger/Richards, Perry/Tyler, and of course, Page and Plant. I was very fortunate to have seen Led Zeppelin live on 2 occasions, once at Earls Court, London in 1975, and then again at a ‘secret’ gig in Copenhagen as they rehearsed their classic Knebworth set in 1980. By September of that year, Bonham was dead.
    This painting captures them beautifully!
